NORTHERN COLORADO FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

Natural, heartfelt photography for families, seniors, and schools in Greeley, Windsor, Fort Collins, Loveland, and throughout Northern Colorado.

A black and white photo of two families sitting on a wooden bridge outdoors, facing each other and smiling, with two children and adults in a natural setting with trees.

One day, you’ll look back and realize these were the days.

The tiny hands that reached for yours. The belly laughs. The way your baby fit perfectly against your chest. The chaos that you sometimes wished you could pause.

That’s what I want to preserve for you.

I’m not interested in creating photographs where everyone looks perfectly posed, and perfectly behaved. I’m interested in photographs that bring you right back to how this season felt.

My approach to family photographs is natural, relaxed, and centered around connection. I’ll guide you when you need direction, but I’ll also give your family room to simply be together.

Photography for all of life’s beautiful seasons

Your family doesn’t need to sit still and smile perfectly. I’ll guide you through a relaxed session focused on connection, movement, and the moments that naturally happen when you’re together.

Your senior year is such a unique season—full of growth, excitement, possibility, and becoming the person you’re meant to be. Senior sessions are designed to celebrate who you are right now, with images that feel natural, confident, and completely you.

I’ll guide you through the session so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to pose. We’ll create a variety of images that capture your personality, style, and this exciting chapter of your life.

School portraits don’t have to feel stiff or overly posed. I believe children deserve photographs that capture their real personalities—the genuine smiles, the confidence, the individuality, and all the little expressions that make them who they are.

My school photography is relaxed, efficient, and focused on creating beautiful portraits while making the experience positive for both students and schools.

You don’t have to know how to pose

This is probably one of the biggest things I want you to know before you book with me:

You don’t have to be good at taking pictures.

You don’t have to know where to put your hands. Your kids don’t have to sit still. And no one needs to spend the whole session saying, “Smile!”

I’ll guide you with simple prompts that encourage genuine interaction—walking, cuddling, playing, talking, laughing, and loving on each other.

My goal isn’t perfection.

It’s connection.

A photography experience that feels as good as the photographs look

I know family photos can feel like a lot.

What should we wear?
Will the kids cooperate?
What if someone has a meltdown?
What if my baby won't sleep?

You don't have to have it all figured out before you arrive.

I'll help you prepare, guide you throughout your session, and create space for your family to relax and connect.

Because the best photographs aren't always the ones where everyone is looking at the camera.

Sometimes they're the ones where you can still remember exactly what it felt like to hold your baby, hear your child's laugh, or have all of your people wrapped up in your arms.

I photograph families throughout Northern Colorado, including Greeley, Windsor, Fort Collins, Loveland, and surrounding Colorado communities.

Whether we're photographing your family outdoors in beautiful Colorado light, documenting your growing family at home, or preserving those first days with a new baby, I'll help you create photographs that feel natural, meaningful, and true to your family.

I love using the beauty of Colorado as a backdrop while keeping the focus where it belongs: on you and the people you love.

Don’t just take my word for it

“Deniece was wonderful to work with and we loved how helpful her kids were during the process. Our youngest is sometimes tough to wrangle and the girls kept him occupied. We will continue to book photo shoots with her in the future because not only is she talented, but she charges reasonably, communicates well and keeps promised deadlines. Since we were newer to the area, we had no idea where to take photos and the place she chose was beautiful!” -Jessica

Have used this photographer several times. Amazing work. Wonderful with children, always happy with results. She also has great ideas for photo shoots. -Lydia

We just had a family photo shoot last evening. THE BEST experience ever! As a family of six, (plus a puppy!) we're a lot to manage. Not only did Niecee make all of us feel very comfortable, we had a blast!!! The pictures turned out even better than I'd hoped.💛 -Bethany

Hi, I’m Deniece

A woman in a long lace dress with ruffled hair holds a camera, sitting on grass outdoors.

I’m a photographer, a storyteller, and someone who believes deeply in the importance of photographs.

I know how quickly childhood moves. That's part of why I don't want your photographs to simply show what your family looked like this year.

I want them to remind you of who you were together.

The connection. The laughter. The messy middle. The tiny details you don't want to forget.

That's why I photograph families the way I do—with gentle direction, plenty of room for personality, and an emphasis on the moments that happen naturally between the people you love most.

From the Blog

You don't need a special occasion to document your family.

You don't need everyone to be perfectly behaved.

You just need to recognize that this season won't last forever.

I'd love to help you preserve it.

Your family is changing. Let’s remember this part.
